Web design for electricians
An electrician's website that answers the first question: are you qualified?
Electrical work sells on credentials before it sells on price. Someone letting a stranger near their consumer unit wants to know you are certified, insured and accountable, and they want to know it before they pick up the phone.
How your customers actually search
Get this wrong and the rest of the site is decoration. These are the patterns that shape what we build.
The big jobs are researched properly
Full rewires, consumer unit upgrades and EV charger installations are four-figure decisions. People read, compare and shortlist before they contact anyone. That visitor is looking for evidence you have done this exact job before and that your certification is current, which means those jobs need real pages rather than a line in a list.
EV charger demand is search-led and growing
Someone who has just ordered an electric car does not have a recommended electrician for it. They search. It is one of the few genuinely new query patterns in the trade, competition for it is still thin in most towns, and it rewards anyone with a dedicated page rather than a passing mention.
Landlords and letting agents search differently
EICRs and landlord certificates are a compliance purchase, not an emotional one. Those searches are specific, repeat annually, and go to whoever looks organised and responsive. A page that states plainly what an EICR involves and what it costs tends to do well.
The pages we would build you
Not a template. This is the structure we would actually propose for a electrician business, and why each page earns its place.
Home
Accreditation logos and reviews high up, with your number tappable on every screen.
Rewires
The highest-value job you do. It deserves detail: what it involves, how long, how disruptive.
Consumer unit upgrades
A specific, well-searched term that people use verbatim.
EV charger installation
Growing demand, thin competition, and a customer who has no existing electrician.
Electrical testing and EICRs
Where landlord and commercial work comes from. Repeat business worth ranking for.
Fault finding
Catches the urgent end of the trade, where speed of response wins the job.
Areas we cover
Sets the boundary of where you travel before anyone wastes a call.
About and accreditations
Your registration numbers, insurance and qualifications in one verifiable place.
Contact
Short form, tappable number, and a clear note on response times.
Where your accreditations belong
NICEIC or NAPIT registration, Part P competence and your public liability cover are the things a cautious customer checks first, so they should not be hidden on an About page. We give them a permanent home in the header or footer and repeat them on the high-value service pages, where the doubt is strongest. If you hold a registration number that can be verified publicly, showing it is worth more than any badge image.

Questions, answered
We build for local service businesses, and electrical work has a clear pattern: accreditations shown prominently, separate pages for rewires, consumer units, EV chargers and EICRs, and a number that is one tap away. That is what we would build for you. We will not claim a portfolio full of electricians — look at our recent work and judge the standard.
Yes, and we would insist on it. Your registration is your strongest trust signal. We display it in a fixed position across the site and, where the scheme provides a public verification link, we link to it so a customer can check rather than take your word for it.
Your domain, your content and your data are yours and leave with you whenever you go. The design and build itself stays with us and is included for as long as you are on a plan, which is what lets us charge a monthly fee rather than a large sum up front.
Plans start at £50 a month ex VAT with no setup fee, and run on a 12-month term that covers the cost of the build instead of a large bill up front. After that it rolls month to month. Full details are on our pricing page.
Most sites go live within three to four weeks of starting. We agree the structure and the content first, then build, and you review everything on a private link before anything is published.
